Lisa Signorini b. 1989

Lisa Signorini (b. 1989, Paris, France) is a multidisciplinary artist living and working between Paris and New York. Her practice moves between drawing, mysticism and the exploration of the unconscious, inhabiting a world where personal visions, spiritual experiences and imagined realities converge.

Also a practicing medium, Signorini draws upon her encounters with the invisible to develop a deeply personal visual language. Her intricate compositions evoke a sense of sacred adolescence, where desire, vulnerability and the uncanny coexist. Bodies intertwine, approach and transform, suggesting an emotional landscape in which the boundaries between the physical and the metaphysical become increasingly fluid. Through intuition and automatic processes, her work explores the tension between conscious intention and forces that resist rational understanding.

In 2023, Signorini participated in a residency at Lafayette Anticipations in Paris, where she developed her own tarot cards, further extending her investigation into symbolism, divination and image-making.

Her solo exhibitions include Thought Daughter at 18Murata, Tokyo (2025); All Magic Comes with a Price at Galerie Georg Kargl, Vienna (2022); You Are a Burning House I Want to Live In at Exo Exo, Paris (2021); and Et la vie aura été magistrale at EA Shared Space Gallery, Tbilisi (2019), curated by Julia Marchand.

Her work has also been presented in group exhibitions at Palais de Tokyo (2023), Lafayette Anticipations (2024) and FRAC Corsica (2023), as well as international art fairs including Liste Basel, NADA Miami and FIAC Paris.
