Chen Shang-Chien studied in the Department of Arts and Design at National Dong Hwa University. His artistic practice focuses primarily on war history painting, drawing inspiration from little-known events before and after World War II. Since 2022, he has been dedicated to creating works related to the island of Taiwan.
